Flat twists how to that last 5 days!

My new quick hair style-FLAT TWISTS.

Things I needed to do flat twists:

1. Comb for parting the hair

2. Auntie Jackie's Curl La La (for flexible hold

and texture) or gel without alcohol like Ecostyler

How to style flat twists:
(basically cornrows with 2 strands instead of 3 strands of hair)

Step 1:  Part your hair where you usually part your hair (side or middle). This is how your hair will lay.

Step 2: Part your hair in a row, similar to the rows in the picture below. Put the rest of the hair in a ponytail or use a clip to keep the hair separate.

Step 3: Now put curl la la or styling gel on the row you are about to twist the scalp.

Step 4: Take a small square from the row you parted and didn't pin up. From this square separate into two. Now twist these two strands.

Step 5: After you twist the two strands, grab a small amount of hair from the same row to add onto one of the strands, just like you would if you were braiding to the scalp. Twists these two strands together.

Step 6: Keep grabbing a small amount of hair from the same row and adding to the other strand, twisting after each grab. Twist to the end of the hair.

Step 7: Repeat steps 2-6 until all of your hair is flat twisted.

Step 8: Wrap up the hair for the night or allow to dry

Step 9: Once the hair is dry, take apart each flat twist, being careful not to undo the texture. Do not comb out the hair. Wrap up the hair each night with a small amount of olive oil, and this style lasts 5 days.
